SIGN OF RAIN

THANGAM MOORTHY'S HAIKU POEMS

0  You blew into my eyes
    The dust flew off
    You blew in .

0   If the eyeless beg
     In the street
     We are blind .

0  The first rose of spring
Bloomed for deity or beauty ?
    The earth claims her own

0   Black will  reign
     Today at dusk
     Tomorrow in Africa..

0  House burn
    In violence
    Castes become the phoenix

0  Scribbles all over the walls
    Fond creations
    Of childish fancy.

0  Birds chirp
    A  clear message
    Men blabber.

0  Ants shun
    This flour
    It is elephant design

0  Like stubborn cob -webs
    Your memories
    Baffle all scrubs

0  Cattle grazing
    Too tough
    well go to school.
